Getting this right matters. Each child matters. Eden House is being built carefully and transparently – able to last. Strong governance is not an add-on for us — it is where we start. The necessary structures and oversight are being put in place before any children are admitted, so that the organisation is stable from the beginning.

We are deliberately putting the children at the core of everything we do.
To ensure good care, Eden House is being built on:

•  strong governance and independent oversight
•  clear accountability from the outset
•  a trauma-informed approach to care
•  consistent, relationship-based support for children

We are developing a Child and Youth Care Centre where children can come into a calm, predictable environment. A place where they are known, where relationships are consistent, and where there is time to settle and begin again.

An independent board is being formed, bringing experience in finance, child protection and statutory care, legal and compliance, operations, and fundraising. This helps ensure that decisions are considered, and that responsibility is shared.
